Initial Hand and Field
So let's say the Dig SIte and your Hand look like this:

In Buried Bluffs, the card you place Face-Down isn't just the enabler for your other Cards.
It will also be an option on a future turn! For that reason, foresight is the key here: what will you want to flip up NEXT turn?
For now, let's go with the Wary Hunter as the card we'll place this turn. Now, let's explore what might happen when we place it in different places!
Option 1 - Getting Aggressive
Let's try placing Wary Hunter here, and flipping 3 Cards!

1 Flip the Cards Next to it!
Once you place Wary Hunter, flip the 3 cards that are next to it, outlined in Red!
The back of every Card has 4 little Shovels that point to the 4 Cards that'll flip!

2 Draw 1 for each Card that flipped DOWN!
One Starter Card was Flipped Down, so you Draw 1.
Remember that it doesn't matter whose Card is Flipped Down!

3 Trigger the Effects of YOUR Cards that Flipped Up!
Only your Lizard Carving flipped up, so it's the only effect you'll be using.
But you flipped your Opponent's Rat Trinkets too - and Rat Trinkets will Attack after this!
However, Cards must be on the field to trigger. So let's have our Lizard Carving intercept it!

4 Using Food Chain!
Now that you're safe from Rat Trinkets, Lizard Carving next says Food Chain 4. That means it can Attack another Card with Food Chain 3 or lower, and then repeat its entire effect!
That means it can Attack your own Spider Broach and chase down the Bat Carving too.

5 Using Food Chain...AGAIN!?
You're really tearing up the board now! And you COULD keep going too - Food Chain repeats itself as well. However, there's no longer an Opponent's Card in Lizard's Attack range, and you'd have to attack your only Face-Down card - better to stop using Lizard there.
If you had flipped another Card, you'd use it here. Since you didn't, your turn ends now!

The Green Deck uses Food Chain to rush down the Board - but be careful! Let these wild animals get too savage and you'll find yourself starving for Cards soon enough.
Option 2 - Preparing For Later
Another option would have been to set up for a future turn. Let's see what happens when we place Wary Hunter here instead:

1 Flip the Cards Next to it!
Once you place Wary Hunter, flip the 2 cards that are next to it, outlined in Red!
The back of every Card has 4 little Shovels that point to the 4 Cards that'll flip!

2 Draw 1 for each Card that flipped DOWN!
You flipped over 2 of your Cards, so you Draw 2.

3 And then... that's it!
Besides drawing 2, flipping Urn and Spider down is another good reason you might take a turn like this!
Once a Card Flips and uses its Effect, it stays Face-Up on the field - Flipping them back down this way is how you use them again.
In the Green Deck, triggering Bottomless Urn repeatedly (once you draw it) can give you very powerful Food Chains later on!
